Who am i?

Hi ! My name is Adam Popławski, and I started my adventure with programming in July 2020, starting the Future Programmer Project.
The idea at the time was to explore what programming actually was and see if I could learn to program on my own?

Thanks to the systematic learning of programming, I got to know algorithms, structural and object-oriented C++ language well.
Then web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap, jQuery. In the next stage of learning, I learned the principles of SOLID, the MVC design pattern and WordPress.
With a good understanding of C++, I’ve written some small applications like Address Book and Ping Pong game in C++ builder.
I also wrote my first major web application “Smart Finance” and implemented it on my website.

The next stage of the project was to learn the basics of the Java programming language. During this time I created 2 small applications: Email Client and The Weather View.

The last step was choosing a specialization. I decided to develop in the direction of .NET, specifically C#.
Following this path, I wrote my first application in this language – Equipment Maintenance, which I also made public on my website.
Finally, I wanted to supplement my knowledge with a better tool for front-end development. For this purpose, I started learning Angular.
Using C# and Angular, I wrote an online store “Bookish” which I also implemented on my website.

From January 2024 to February 2025 I studied at Atlantic Technological University in Galway, graduating with a Higher Diploma in Software Development.

From the very beginning, I liked programming – learning new technologies and their necessary functionalities step by step, and then thinking about how to apply this knowledge in real applications.

Systematic learning allowed me to understand what programming is all about. At the same time, I know my limitations and I realize how extensive the subject of programming is. I have also learned that with patience and practice, I can expand this knowledge and learn any new technology in a relatively short time.
